Hi everyone, here is the Giro d'Italia made by me.
DOWNLOAD HERE: https://www.partage-facile.com/6BVO85F...d.rar.html
The rar file contains all the stages files + the .descr file.
10/11/2010: VERY IMPORTANT!!!!
I found an error in the .descr file, because of this the 10th stage does not correspond to "Chioggia - Monte Grappa", but this year's 10 stage (Avellino-Bitonto) loads.
If you still haven't start a career you can download the corrected version linked down here
https://www.2share...tkidd.html
otherwise you can fix this in this easy way:
- when you gent in the year in which my variant will show up
- create a New Folder in the CM_Stages folder ad move in there the original Giro files (.cds and .zces) for stage 10 (they should be called top_giro_10.cds/zces)
- rename my giro stage 10 files (10_CH MG.cds/zces) exactly as the original one (top_giro_10.cds/zces)
- now open your saved game again and stage 10 should show the correct profile, however the name will still be Avellino-Bitonto, but that does not change anything
I hope it is clear enough, please do not hesitate in asking any question!

Stage 2: AGRIGENTO CATANIA

Stage 18: SAVIGLIANO SESTRIERE

Wait....someone actually made a fantasy Giro variant that's not wildly unrealistic?
I'm amazed. Thanks!
This could easily be a real life Giro route.

Wait its not realistic to have only 30 riders finish a GT???
Great work. |

Thanks!
Also do not pay attention to the max slope of some of the spline description as it is sometimes that steep for 1m so it does not make any difference, al the average slopes are consistent with the real ones! |

Finally someone making a realistic variant.
I don't like those grazy hard variants everyone makes.
Good job.

Agree, looks nice! Not too hard, nice mountains anyway.. can someone tell me, which existing giro variant (from latest pcm daily patch) is too hard? Haven't reached a second season so far, but saw hard ones posted here. This one here from satkid i would prefer by first look. |

yes most of them are just unrealistic totally spoils the experience, but this here is great for, hope some stages makers will take this as an example, since they dont orientate on real routes as it seems...
