Cannot load - chrashes constantly.

Hello
Until today, almost everything has worked fine, but all of a sudden i can't load anything. The game simply chrashes everytime i click the load button.
Any of you have experienced this or have an idea of what to do? |

what do you try to load (savegame, 3d-race, new game) that makes it crash ? |

Ah, when loading save game in menu.
I have tried starting a new career and load latest played and it works, but that option disappears after turning off.
(Don't play the game in english, so don't know the exact titles for each button.) |

seems to me your savegame is broken
as far as i know the game creates weekly backups of savegames. you could try to load one of them (that is, backup your current savegame, and replace it with the latest backup). You can find these backups in "C"/.../My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2010/Database/WeeklySave"
sorting them by date might help to find the good one

Hm, didn't have a lot worth saving, hadn't made it far in career, so tried reinstalling the game. Don't know if that deletes the savegames, but at least it didn't help the problem. I still cant click the load button.
How do I load the weeklysave`?

it's less loading a weeklysave, but you can restore an earlier version of the savegame -> go back in history and hopefully have a working savegame again. this can be done by replacing the old savegame with one of the weeklysaves (copy the weekly and replace your current file)
did you had the problems after reinstalling when loading the old savegame? or with a new one? did you, before reinstalling, remove the PCM folders in MyDocuments?

You sort of lost me.
Where will I find my current savegame files?
afaik i didn't remove anything, and although it sounds weird i think it just happened out of the blue. I remember playing my savegame, then closing PCM, removing the power to my computer, replugged it and tried loading the same savegame again. WHich failed. |

If you uninstall the game, then the saves will not be deleted.
The saves are in My Documents\PCM\Database\Name of DB (this is not the exact path because it could be different on your computer). If you don't find them, start a new career, enter a file name and then search for that name on your computer. |

Just to be totally clear:
There's probably a problem with one of your save-games. As Lachi says, you can try to remove your save games - they are located in My Docs/PCM/Database/Name of DB.
If removing the save games works, you can try to recover a previous version of your save game, as described by manindemann.
Open My Docs/PCM/Database/WeeklySaves and copy the latest one to My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo/Name of DB. |

I have now deleted all savegame files, which helped
So far everything is working again. (Besides the scouting system)
