Presidential Tour of Turkey Stage 3
mb2612
Stage 3 is another flat stage, although longer at 162km, strangly the favourites are the same, although Pozzatto doesn't look like he's interested in the sprints

Again we have no one interested in a breakaway so the first sprint goes to Kip ahead of Chicchi and Guillen

By the first climb a break of 3 has been established, in order, Suparman, Nordhaug and Monterastelli

Nordhaug takes the sprint ahead of Suparman and Monerastelli

10km to go and we are together again, the yellow jersey is well placed at the front

3km to go and we have 5 chains all side by side battling for victory, so lets look at the contenders from left to right

Kip, Siedler and Bettini are all on the far left, then we have Trusov and Pozzato both on a teammates wheel, with Gavazzi following Pozzato, On the far right is Cucinotta

Due to a reluctance to leave wheels are leaders are closed down fast when the sprint starts

So with 1.5km to go Van Hummel has exploded into the lead

He pulls out a massive gap

And takes a surprise victory ahead of Trusov and Gavazzi
