PCM10 doesn't keep settings since 4.2 update

Hi all,
Since I updated to patch 1.0.4.2 The game no longer 'remembers' the settings. eg. Do not display windsock, return to normal speed for important events etc. It the load last saved game button is always grayed out.
Game plays fine other than that. Any ideas? |

I had the same problem a while ago. I never found out what was wrong, but it suddently worked again after about a month.

Is it possible that you click "Yes " on the auto update?
Because the auto update is still installing 1.0.4.1 you always update back and the settings are reseted.
If you click "no" after installing 1.0.4.2 manually it should work.

If you're playing with the PCM.daily DB and are using the Local.cdb 'read only' workaround, I guess that could be a side consequence.
I guess I'll have to make a new Local.cdb to make it work properly - I'll do that later today when I'm done writing two uni-assignments. |

I am using the PCMdaily database (of course), and I am using the read only workaround. |

Works just fine for me.
You may have to delete your graphic settings (delete the folder named Config in My Docs/PCM).
