in israel there is almost no cycling cultar and becuse of that we dont have "cycling only" roads(for example i saw at the tour that someone was riding near the pack on a Different road.)the closest it gets is park hayrkon
but the road has holes in it and even thu the law states its only for cyclist and emergency serves(police, fire figthers, ambulance and the army)there are scotars, motorcycles and even walking pregnet womem.so basicly since the year started 9 cyclist lost there lifes including the son of a former suprim judge.since all of what happen the goverment is looking to fix the problame,so far 2 optins has been said:
1)all cyclist will be forecd by the law to ride against the trafic(i know its stupid thats way i will not listen to the law in case it will go.)
2)not allow cycling outside towns(also vrey stupid)but since the offer came for the minister of trafic safty(offer 1 was given by a minister that dosent have a say abuot it)it is a very big thret.
and the bigest and probably the most stupid thing is that the cycling only roads only need the goverment aprovment since the money and the space to build.
so if any of you have an idea other then protest plz help.
ps:i have no intres of suing the govement but i wanna ride.
ps2:if you see someting isnt speld rigth i will be happy to fix it.
1 - Cyclists riding "AGAINST" the traffic makes perfect sense on common roads. It makes motorists instantly aware of cyclists coming towards them, without having the need for evading said cyclist.
If you walk/cycle/bike/whatever in the opposite direction of traffic, YOU, as a cyclist, can always see what is coming your way, and the motorists can see you as well. It's the safest way to ensure awareness from both sides.
2 - Is not feasible, due to the economic difference between cars / bicycles.
Suggestion - Why not just make a simple addition to the road network, in the form of cycling lanes? It practically costs nothing, and it's extremely easy to maintain. The amount of pavement that would have to be used pr/road is much less than the cost of several bicycle accidents a year.
Comment on Edit2: There are some (more than some) spelling errors, but they don't make your post unreadable. Don't worry about it.

well first of thanks for your offer but i probably shuold have been more clear
1)i forgot to say that as a cyclist i have laws to obligate, for now the law says that lets say i wanna turn to the left i need to get myself to the left lane and wait for a green ligth so if i will ride against the trafic i wont be able to see where thers a green light wich will make accidants.
2)in bike roads i ment lanes made only for bikes and has something(no matter what)in betwin.and as i said everything is set up:
1)kkl(karen kyemt lisrael, israel existing fund)is wiilng to give some of her space to build lanes.just for generel ifno all trees and forest in israel belong to her.
2)the israeli cycling federiton is willing tp pay all expenses.
once again sorry for forgating to write some info.

1 - I assume you're talking about crossroads. In that case, it sounds as if Cyclists are subject to the same laws as cars. Which is clearly unsafe, and wrong. A left turn at a crossroads should be done in the safest possible manner (review attached file). If this is not the lawful way to turn left in an intersection in Israel, this should be suggested ASAP.
2 - Cycling should only be permitted on regular roads, if there are no cycling lanes. Get to building the cycling lanes - or pressure your government to provide them ;-)
