Longest Time Trials

Once upon a time, Grand Tours used to have lots of time trials, and moreover, they were long, sometimes very long (unlike the paltry amount we were given this year!). The longest I've found after a quick search was about 88km in the 87 Tour (stage won by Stephen Roche iirc) and 153km Team Time Trial in the 1978 Tour (in which I believe there were also 3 ITTs and a prologue for a total of over 300km of time trialing!!!).

Does anybody know what the longest time trials are in a Grand Tour? (whether individual or team)

And secondly, outside of a grand tour are there any records for longest time trials?

Oh, the times when GTs were GTs, and not best climber competitions... <3

I dunno how long was the longest ever, but they shouldn't be much longer than those you posted, if they aren't the longest themselves.

The British time trialling scene includes a National 100 Mile championship. So thats roughly 160km,

The 1927 and 1928 Tour de France had a bunch of team time trials because the organizers didn't like the stages finishing in a bunch sprint. Most of them were over 200km.

The Vuelta was won by far from the best climber
