Is anyone else tired of Floyd Landis? Does this guy not get it? He is not the ideal man to lead the anit-doping movement. I laugh everytime he calls organizations selfish and only after their own interests because they won't let him ride or speak. He might be speaking the truth now but it is too late. I am deaf to him because I don't want to get fooled again. HE can't be trusted.
This guy needs to look in the mirror and understand that people don't like you.
Your thoughts? Am I off my rocker? |

I don't like him, never will, but the more he does ant doping/Lance wise the more I "Respect" him. Respect is probably the wrong word. |

seems like a bit of a douche, that may just be a media construction though.
But any effort to eradicate doping is fine by me, despite personal motives someone might have.

Until Lance is done, he's fine.
Once Lance is busted, hate him again

He is an idiot. If he succeeds in catching Lance, or the Hog or whoever, he'll become a useful idiot.

Hate Landis as a person, and hate him for making all the credibility in the anti-Lance fight disappear in an instant, at least when it comes to in the court of US public opinion.
They didn't need Landis to get Lance, and they don't need him now, and all he is doing is firing up Lance's supporters.
Fuck off Floyd. You're my second favorite Floyd ever, and that is because I only know one more, this guy.

They didn't need Landis to get Lance
Really?
And yet, it is Landis' actions earlier this year that started it all becoming more serious.

Granted, it was his actions that started this, but if they had wanted to go after Lance without Landis going public, they could of, and I think it would have happened.
Still wish he would shut up and die. |

What does he have to gain from publicity? |

And what he does reaches both him and cycling.
As for him he may be gaining publicity (and so what ?) and money. You can blame him for that, I'm not too sure he's to blame. He might as well feel guilty of living like a cheater (with all his moron, erm, Mormon education, he must be an over-zealous Christian inside), and he's looking for redemption by coming true publicly.
As for cycling, it might end up by kicking UCI in the nuts, which they've long deserved. It might also help getting rid of Armstrong, Bruyneel, etc. and make the truth about them public, which can only be a good thing (not for them nor for people involved in their business, I admit).
I don't mind about Landis as a human being, he may live or die (preferably after this thing is done though). He might become rich or become a bum, I couldn't give a damn.
By the way, I disagree with the idea of redemption. What you've done wrong is wrong, what you do right is right, but one never makes it for the other. Though, this shouldn't prevent people for trying to be good.
In the end, cycling got cleaner, I could only applause Landis' action. |

He probably can never get redemption, but he can help clean the sport up. And as long as he is doing that, I'm not going to openly dislike him.

Hate is a strong word for someone I've never met, and never will. I dislike what he has done in the past, but I am happy that he is, hopefully, now part of the cleaning up process. |

Teaching uni students about dugs in sports in Melbourne before the worlds is a good place to start
For me... vanished into the nothingness... and that's where he should stay
I agree that there are likeable riders that have doped, but the fact that he denied it for about 2/3 years later angers me
It's not like it wasn't evident anyways...I mean, who attacks with 120km from the finish? (that's a GC contender) |

The man lacks all credibility and I ignore everything he says. The only evidence against Lance I will truly accept is anything that is brought to the fore by anyone other than Landis. |

I don't like him. He's just jealous of Armstrong and squeal now. No Way! |
