I created this threat for anyone who wants to tell us about breakaways that seemed to be unbeatable and were caught in the end.
Here's mine:
I'm playing the Ukraine Championship with Cofidis (I signed Popovych). There was a breakaway of 3 riders. As my only Ukraine rider is Popovych and there were teams like "ISD" and "Amore & Vita" I thought they would do the work because they all started woth about 8 riders and I had only Popovych. Unfortunately they didn't. First off i decided to capitulate and just ride it to the end in the peleton. Then I decided not to do so and a paced up. This was about 65km before the finish line and the breakaway group was 12' or 13' in lead. The race ended that Popovych won with 2 minutes advance before Popkov (I think he's called Popkov or simlilar). And Popkov had again about a minute on the Peleton including the 3 escapees. I just thought this was quite amazing because Popovych did all the work for the peleton alone, none helped even for a second.
