your ports aren't open so he cannot connect to you.
You can port forward on your router
https://portforwar...
The ports for PCM are
- 17851 : TCP
- 17852 : TCP
- 3033 : UDP
- 3034 : UDP

Ok. Here we are again. After months of not playing, the new db of pcmdaily got me reaching for my disc of PCM 10 again.
I'd like to play online with a friend, as we used to do in pcm 08, via hamachi. We do everyting right the same as we did back then, but my friend keeps getting the "waiting for host" message.
I can't see his name in the list while he's waiting, but at the moment he cancels, his name pops up in the list for about 2 seconds and then disappears.
Anyone that can help? I opened the 4 mentioned ports.. |

Is he using DirectConnect? Or are you only using Hamachi? |

Yes, using directconnect. As we always did for PCM 08.
We both still have PCM 08 installed, there we do the exact same thing and the game works fine online.
Very weird .. Hope anyone can help, I'm getting kind of desperate |

That's indeed very weird. I haven't had any trouble in terms of hosting games.
Did you try using GameCenter? |

Haven't tried GameCenter yet, because we both couldn't host pcm 08 with that. Guess we should check it out. Really can't figure out why 08 works fine and pcm 10 can't seem to make any connection until he hits the "cancel" button. |

Doesn't work either. Is there anyone that plays online via hamachi? Maybe we can join the same network once and have a try. If we can join someone else, at least we know something must be wrong with the firewalls/routers. |
