DESCRIPTION
I’ve created this pack for personal use, but maybe someone find it of some interest. I have just packed all variants for PT races published so far, created missing descr files and modified rules files in order to rotate all available variants (and original Cyanide version).
All credits go to stage makers (listed below) and to Svam of the Cya Forum for gathering all the published variants in 1 single thread.
File size is pretty huge (approx 1,5 gb), I’ve splitted the pack into 4 files.
Place them all together in the same folder and open the first one (.001) with 7-zip or similar software. Extract all the files and folders contained to your Pro Cycling Manager 2010 folder.
This pack is compatible with any DB or Pack.
Any comment, feedback or further variant to be added is welcome.

NOTE
It's possible to add variants to your existing save game by editing the DB, though. It requires some Advanced Editor knowledge. Please note that your savegame should have been started with 1.0.3.1 or later.
Add the new variant to your game and start a new save game. Advance a day and quit the game. Now, load the new save game to the Advanced Editor, and do the same with your old save game. Copy DYN_variant_date and DYN_variant_stage from the new save game to the old one.
Open the advanced editor and export the new .cdb based on your old save game folder. Copy the newly created .cdb to your save game folder and play.

I think they probably will, but you need to ask for confirmation to someone from the PcmDaily crew. |

In this case, watch out because special letters like "ü" in .descr file cause the cdb file to be unreadable (although game seems to work) |

This happened on one Tour de Suisse description. You can play the game but are unable to use any editor or planner than the Hannes Converter.
But it`s quite easy to "repair".

Yes, it's "Zürich" in Maethius's TdS variant. |

In the ASO db it's more variants, maybe you will include they in a very big pack?? |

All the 2011 variants in the ASO are 2010 stages.
The tour variant for 2011 for example are 4 Paris Nice stages, 2 Dauphinee stages (Alpe d`Huez) and all others are TdF 2010 stages. (everything but Alpes and Netherlands, so you ride the Tourmalet stage again)
It`s the same with all other variants.
In this pack here are just completely new variants. |

well, i don't like the idea of grabbing someone else's work
if you wish, you could send me the content of your variant folder and i can try to merge the descr files from ASO db with the ones in the pack by creating new rules file comprehensive of both pack's variants. |

nope, they won't ... as long as you save the several xml files in UTF-8 |
