Hey there.
Just wondering about something, compared to real cycling.
If you will use your best team mates in PCM 10 mountain stages.
Lets take the Schleck Brothers.
If you ride in TdF and will have andy to win the race.
Do you then take Fränk as protect rider to Andy, or do you set Fränk to try tro split the peleton?
Or how do you use ur team mates in mountain stages.
Also for flat stages aswell.
but there i just use em in front of the peleton, and to make trains

I usually use the second best climber as a protection for leader. Strong teams are usually making a pace so u dont have to make a big effort. But good strategy to split the peloton is to let leader go to the front, while he is still protected and make fast pace, so that only best climbers can hold on.

Do the second. Set your second to attack hard on the last climb, then follow the leaders wheel with your major rider. You can either win with the guy who has gone off or win with your leader. ATTACK, ATTACK, and ATTACK its the way to win.

I wouldn`t attack. The attack button is almost useless on climbs.
Best way in my opinion is to protect your leader with a good climber. Then go on "dot" with 75-87% and make the field faster. It`s like an attack without losing all your bars in a few seconds and with a better result.

i do both, frank will protect andy UNTIL i feel its time for Andy to attack, then i will set Frank on dot ride hard as he can at the front to split the pack, when he's tired i then launch Andy. This is the theory anyway. You could protect BOTH Andy & Frank until the foot of the bottom climb.

Protect andy with frank then put andy on dot and slowly increase to pull away from the group once frank starts falling behind andy then attack with andy and very few people will be able to follow as they will be tired from followig your high pace whilst being protected
