Scouting under 23s????

How can I scout the under 23s? If I go to the u23 world ranking section I can see the riders and their points. There are options to contact, sponsor, monitor. But when I click on "monitor" a dialog box comes up asking me which scout I want to monitor the rider. The problem is the box is always blank i.e. none of my scouts appear. Even if they are not assigned anywhere, they still don't come up. Does anyone know what the problem here is? Thanks in advance |

As far as I know, the scout has to be scouting the region the rider comes from. |

Lachi is right!!
You need to see the country of the rider and send your scout to a region of this country. Then you come back to the U23 page and try to monitor the rider. If you still cant, go back to scouting page and send the scout to another region of the rider's country.. When you find the right region it will be possible to monitor him. |

I have had a similar problem. They definite leader of the U23 World Ranking was from Slovakia, so I sent my scout there. I went back to the riders page and click the monitor-button. My scout didn't show up, the list was blank, but I still clicked "OK", or something.
After a few weeks I see that my scout has found out a couple of the stats on this rider, but he is still "registrered" as having no scouts monitoring him. I was just wonering wether or not this is a problem or just a little mistake by Cyanide? |

No that is not a mistake cactus-jack
A scout needs to be in a region for a significant time and then finds riders one by one.
The longer the scout stays in a region, the more riders he will find.
You have to be patient, just like real life scouting dude. |

I hade a look and had two problems. With database that I am plaing (been playing for a few seasons so the riders are not the same and their stats are different. Well there is no dyn_young riders to select and with the databese i started it shows this part of database to be completly ampty |

You're not opening your save game then.
It's in My Docs/PCM/DB/Solo/DB Name/

You must open your savegame in the editor.
The normal database is empty there I guess,
The savegame is filled, just checked it.

Zones may be changed in some DBs, though, so if you want to be sure, check STA_newrider_area and STA_newrider_continent. |

Now i tried to apply that in actual (test) game and souts finde everyyone else accept those riders i want them to find. And is it important if scout is legendary or can it be worse. Does it effect noumber of riders found or just quality of his predictions. What does the bar do, couse I found out that it is proceding faster with scout from country, but scouts from some countries are rear. |
