Hello, I've asked this on other forums, without getting any answer, sadly.
However, my problem is that I downloaded and installed a DB which made the route of the biggest races vary, it works great, the problem, however, is that when I win fx. Tour de France, I do not recive the money for winning the GT, altho I did recive money from winning stages and such. My budget had a hard time, and I just made it by winning some races at the end of the season, seeing as the Vuelta gave me no money either. Now, I thought this was just a problem with the races, and I should just cut down on exspensive riders for the new season, but I was wrong. After the season ended, I did not recive any money from my sponsor, so in the last month, I had around 80.000 left, but when I came into the new season, I was on -8,000.
Any suggestions, to what might be wrong, and how it could be fixed? |

This might be a problem in the classification file. If possible upload this file. You find it in the mainfolder/classification.
If it is the Tour upload GrandTourFrance.xml or something similar.
Every race or at least every race_type have their own classification file. |

As far as I remember, the stage ends with a "finish_flat", so if it doesn't work, I'm not exactly sure how you'd add bonuses to time trial finishes.
The stage is not a part of the next PCM.daily DB.
If you want to workaround it, you can replace the stage. Simply, delete the v2_top_tour_21 files in CM_Stages and make a copy of top_tour_21 and rename them to v2_top_tour_21. |

roturn; Not sure if this is the file, but I think it is top_france_grandtour.xml
CrueTrue; I'm not quite sure what you mean, since I am not into those technical parts of the PCM files, I just had a look into the CM_stages map, and it honestly just made me even more confused. Also, this might be the way to solve this problem, however, its like this with every race that have variations attached, and the biggest problem must be, that I do not recieve any money when I start a new season - seeing this already ruined my savegame.

"Ruined" - you can easily 'save' it by adding the money to your team with an editor. |

just for the interest ... had you sponsor goals to reach for these races?
Edit:

Type: Finish_Flat and Category: TimeTrial are fine for a flat TT ... don't think, that's the problem

Well I were hoping that I did not have to use any editor to save it. Then I'd have to figure out how they work etc. Altho, since my new season is 2012, the 2010-routes are back, so maybe it will be fixed now. Even then, I'll just run into it again, next year.
As I'm Saxo Bank, the sponsor wanted me to win Tour de France, and another sponsor wanted me to finish in top-10 of the Vuelta, which I did. You might have a point, I had no goals with Giro - which I simulated - and Anders Lund finished 8th, I am not quite sure if I revieced any money there, tho. |

Anyway, as said, if you want to prevent it from happening again, you have to do what I said in #3:
1. In Program Files/Cyanide/PCM, there's a folder called CM_Stages which includes all the stage files. Open it.
2. Find the two files called v2_top_tdf_21 and delete them.
3. Find the two files called top_tdf_21 and make a copy of them.
4. Rename the two files that you just copied to v2_top_tdf_21.
Done. |

Well, the money prizes are decided by the classification files, as Roturn said. The time trial is set to finish_flat, meaning that it should use finish_flat variable in the classification file - but it doesn't, which I suspect is due to the "category: time trial" thing.
I don't know for sure, but that's my guess. |

Hm well, I'll try that, I suppose I would do the same with the last Vuelta stage, and Giro Stage?
However, how can any of this do that I did not get my sponsor money for the new season? I managed to turn out with a + for January, but for Febuary, I now have a -26.000 on my Balance. I am not quite sure if I will be able to make such money, taken into account I fired all my staff, to save money. |

So far, we've been discussing why you didn't receive money from GTs. Can't help you with the "normal" budget thing.
You do realize that you need to re-sign your co-sponsors, right? |

Yes I've just done that, they almost cover my salary now, made sure I got the ones who paid the most.
Edit: Just checked my economy-tab, and saw that every month I pay around 650.000 in salary. But, to that, I also recieve 508.000 from ''Sponsor investment'', plus the around 90.000 from additional sponsors. Do I get the paycheck month by month, instead of all at once, in the start of the season, or is it always like this?

nope, when you take a look into the classification file, the
<sprint_bonus source_in="RACE_FINAL" type_in="TIME" source_out="RACE_FINAL" type_out="MONEY">
</sprint_bonus>
(which determine the final money prizes for the ranks)
just belongs to the parent node
<sprint_type type ="finish_flat">
</sprint_type>
only.
so type ="finish_flat" should be fine for the stage ... wherefor the category value seems to tell the game, which "fkIDstage_type" value the stage uses just only.
(for variant stages the game seems to read out those several stage files directly and adds these category values to the new stage table of the database; while it creates the database of a new season)
i think the problem in here is, that it doesn't send the RACE_FINAL value in any way to the game for mistake

So if this is true, it would be something I had to go into the classification file, and change myself? |

no, i guess it's a database or even game related bug.
so it would be interesting
1. to know, if you had some sponsor goals to fulfill for that races?
(like any sponsor told you to win the Tour de France and Vuelta?)
2. to take a look into your save game, while you're still in the season, when these bugs happened
(guess, you are 1 season further meanwhile, right?) |

Try this one:
https://www.multiu...VN21975KXA
I just changed the GC money for all jerseys for every single race finish.
I haven`t understood the exactly problem. And I had no overview over the specific stage. But I am quite sure this will work. Hope so at least

Possible. As I said, I might have misunderstood the problem.
But the classification had just final price money for finish_flat. No other solutions.
As far as I understood it`s about TDF Variant 1, so the timetrial on the Champs Elysees. But there was no final price money for this kind of finish.
So maybe it will work. |
