Does anyone know where to find a guide on how to use the advanced simulation. If no guides exist - can people shortly describe how they use it so everyone can learn and inspire one another
its pretty easy man it tells you everything you need to do when you click on it ?
riders all on the left hand side
rider roles on the lft you chosee which role a rider does
theres a terrain map at the top you can move the 3 cloured
rectangles and there is a key as to what the rectangles do at the top left
so yeah pretty easy to work

So its not real time in anyway? I mean it does more or less as the normal simulation apart from the fact you can watch the race unfold?
Q1: Can i set a rider to attack at a specific point - lets say 50km from goal.
Q2: Will an attack be carried out even if a breakaway is already out there??
To answer your both questions:
1. Look at the interface. Isn't there an icon you can drag?
2. The simulation is not the same as playing in 3D. You cannot be SURE that the riders do what you told them.
Q1: yes but you can only get a leader to attck from a certain point but you can get every rider to attck and be lkeaders if you really wanted and yeah its up on the interface before you simulate when you are clicked on a lead rider so just drag it
Q2:if youve told them to attck im pretty sure they'll do so
but then again i only use it rarelya nd i dont whatch it i just press end because i feel it gives better otions than the quick simulator and better results if you use it right
