This looks like the result of a 3500km ITT

looks to be a very weak field for the giro....where are the GC contenders? apart from the top 2, the rest of the field looks like a result from a minor race! |

btw it had to be really boring to play...

i played the 2010 giro once in a carreer and apart from my liquigas team with nibali and basso, the next best riders were scarponi over 10 mins behind... ok he is good in gt, but then pozzovio, luis leon sanchez, popovich and garzelli
astana brought navarro as captain, rabobank mollema and saxobank fuglsang...
the rusults of methius giro just show that the profile is way too difficult and it makes it all unrealistc... maybe you can skip 2 or 3 of the hardest stages and relplace them with easier ones if you take the variant in to the pcm daily db? just an suggestion to keep the realism

Exactly, I don't wanna play this giro, it's very unrealistic and much too hard. |

Castroviejo 18th? No, having played as Euskaltel I can confirm that that's impossible.
And why are all the top places from 3rd down occupied by riders from Italian continentals?

i played the giro only once during a carreer, and as i said above it all classments were dominated by riders from italian continental teams (apart from mine) best youth masciarelli, best sprinters( of course they didnt win the jersey tho) pettachi, benatti, napolitano)
can someone who played it more often tell me if its always like this? no big guns at the start usually?

I've played alot of carreers yet, and always the same contenders for the Giro GC... Cunego, pozzovivo, scarponi, the liquigas dudes and Garzelli...
I guess i'll replace the Tour with this Giro to see if it's more fun to play with Contadoy, Andy, Sammy and Menchov ;D |

ok thanks for the info, in a way its not that unrealistic to have more of the regional heroes there and not all stars
i had this at the dauphine too btw, almost only french riders there, moreau and peraud would be ok for me, but vogondy, voeckler, riblon, kern all together in the top 10!?!
then at the tour de suisse almost ALL stars at the start...
