I'm having a problem with exporting my results.
My game crashes everytime when I try to export and when I want to open the exported file, Excell gives me a failure message which says that something's gone wrong with the table.
Is there anyone that can help me?

Only happens with classics, I guess?

I don't know what the problem is, but I think it's related to the PCM.daily DB.

I don't know whether the Costa degli Etruschi, the GP La Marseillaise, the Trofea Cala Millor and the Trophée Deià are considered as classics?

So what to do about it? Or do I just have to cope with it?

Well, it's technically possible to get the results:

A problem with this database is that after most one day classics, upon clicking the export button, the game will crash. You will find a results file in the usual place, but Excel will be unable to open it, due to 'errors'.

To fix this, make a copy of a results file that does open in excel.

From hereon I will refer to this copy as 'NEW', and the broken results file as 'CLASSIC'.

Open the folder containing NEW and CLASSIC, then open Notepad twice. Drag NEW into one of the open notepads, and CLASSIC into the other. You will now see the coding behind the excel file.

Go to the CLASSIC notepad file and scroll down to where the results of the race are listed. They will look something like this:
<Row ss:AutoFitHeight="1">
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="Number">1</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Emanuele Sella</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Lipton Ice Tea</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">5h05'50</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String"></Data></Cell>
</Row>
<Row ss:AutoFitHeight="1">
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="Number">2</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Sergio Luis Henao Montoya</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Nespresso - SportZone</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">+ 23</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String"></Data></Cell>
</Row>
<Row ss:AutoFitHeight="1">
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="Number">3</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Frank Schleck</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">Accumalux-Huez</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String">s.t.</Data></Cell>
<Cell ss:StyleID="s23"><Data ss:Type="String"></Data></Cell>
</Row>

Select all of the results, from 1st place to last, being careful to only select the data once - it will be in the file twice as both Stage Results and General Results.

Copy this from CLASSIC, find the corresponding tables in NEW, and replace them with the data from CLASSIC.

Now, save NEW, close it in Notepad, and you should be able to open it in Excel and you should now be able to see the results from your race. Job done.

I'll try this, tomorrow, now I'm too tired to do such a thing.
Anyway, thanks for you help, I'll give a sign if this tricky worked or not.

I now have the notepad file with the good results, but how do I open that notepad file with excell?

Save it as a .xml file.

Is there anyone who can upload an exported results file in excell of a classic race? Because I only have exported stage races, and I think that's the reason I can't do Crue's tricky.
