How to ride on cobbles?
cactus-jack
I haven't really gotten the hang of how to ride well on cobbles? Is there anything you do to avoid losing to much fatigue? Like using the dot in climbs (which works way to well, by the way)

I always use the dot for my most important riders.

If the cobble section is at the beginning of the race and the speed pretty low, I position my riders side by side with the relaying train when the cobbles arrive.
Try to keep them there while riding on the cobbles (between 20-35% for good cobble riders). When the front leaves the cobbles, the peloton streches and you have to speed up a bit (~40%).

The same strategy works for the cobble sections later when the speed is high and the pack consist of less than 40 riders. You just need to adjust the percentage to around 65%.

You'll save as much energy as possible with this.
