sorry if it's already been mentioned, but in my game ( the latest PCM patch) when i tried to carry out a quick sim it wouldn't work. i couldn't change anyones roles in the team and i couldn't change who i wanted the team to ride for. Gerrans was set as my leader and Henderson as my sprinter, but i couldn't set Downing and Sutton to lead out henderson, they were leading out Gerrans instead.
anyone else had a similar problem? |

yep. i installed the PCM expansion pack and then put the 1.0.3.0 patch on top of it.
The aussie champs worked fine but then the first stage of the tour down under just kept crashing. In the end i gave up and decided to sim it but the options to choose your own leader and who the team mates were working for kept reseting. And despite Gerrans being set as the leader and henderson as the sprinter, both downing and sutton could only lead out gerrans and not henderson. I haven't had time to try stage 2 yet as i've been busy but i'll let you know what i find.

It is recommended to install it like this:
- Game
- Patch 1.0.3.0
- PCM-daily expansion pack
- PCM-daily expansion pack for 1.0.3.0 |

thanks for the help guys.
now i seem to have another problem. i'm trying to uninstall the game completely to re-install it all in the right order. i know that in order to completely un-install the game you need to uninstall it, delete the PCM folder in the My Documents folder and then you have to find RUN, type in %appdata% and then delete the cyanide folder. or at least thats how you used to do it.
there is no cyanide folder in the Run bit but when i insert the disk to re-install it tells me that the folder already exists. is the cyanide folder in a different place this time? or am i doing it wrong? |

i tried to re-install the game again but my computer crashed halfway through. i decided to delete everything and start again but despite deleting everything linked to PCM, when i insert the disk the game just starts playing instead of giving me the option to install it again. i've even deleted the folder in the list of programmes. how do i completely delete everything? |

everytime i put the disk in and the game starts, a new PCM folder appears in my documents and in the appdata bit.
how do i completely delete it all if i keep deleting the folders but then they keep coming back. |

This sounds a bit weird, did you even un-install the game probably ? It's really easy, even a 5year-old kid could do it... |

i know. but when i installed it the computer crashed which complicated things a bit.
i un-installed the game. deleted the PCM folder in my documents and then deleted the PCM golder in appdata, but whenever i insert the disk it just starts up again and the folders all come back.
i even deleted the desktop shortcut and the cyanide folder from my list of programmes. the only way to start the game is to insert the disk. even when you type pro cycling manager into serach nothing comes up. but if you put the disk in the game starts like there is nothing wrong.
i even went through all the folders deleting eveything to do with PCM manually.
i just don't understand it.

Reading through what you've said, it sounds like you've deleted everything but the game itself.
Choose start - control panel - add/remove programs and uninstall the actual game that way. Will be slightly different depending on your version of windows.
Or to to do it manually, open my computer and go to C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010 and delete this folder. |

well i don't understand how it's working but it is. i decided to just download the patch and expansion packs and see what heppens and they both seem to be working fine.
i don't have a clue where the game is on my computer. the only way to get it to work is to put the disk in. there is no shortcut or cyanide folder in my list of programmes.
i'll let you know if i ever find it |
