Adding norwegian stages

I have heard some talk about stages from Norway not being able to be put into the game. Apperantly, the same problem goes for Canada.
Anyhow, I was wondering if you could put stages form certain areas into the game or none from that country at all? I was wondering because Rogaland GP, a one-day race, is there. Would it be possible to add races from southern Norway, even if you can't use the north of Norway? |

The dem files is not created for Norway

Rogaland is in the south, thoose has been made as far as i know.
But is there an offical list to where we can see what dem files is created?

I haven't had any problems with any part of Canada since the new dem pack came out. I've got a race I'm currently working on from BC (Far Left of Canada) I did a quick route of around my city (which is almost exactly in the middle of Canada) and then Quebec seems to be working as well. |

The original game came with .dem files for most of Europe and a small part of Australia. |

Ringerike GP amongst other Norwegian races would certainly be made by the community. No doubt about that. Still, without DEMs - not possible.
Johan92 has talked with Freire about the possibility of having DEMs for Norway. The reply: Norway is too close to the poles and the maps wouldn't have the needed quality. Freire was really sorry on behalf of the Norwegian community, but that's the way it is. You can not expect more DEMs from Norway.

The thing is - I still haven't seen anyone manage to find a .dem file on the net and use it in the game. Yes, you may find one of the missing .dem files, but it doesn't seem to be possible to make it work with PCM10. |

Well, apparently, I've found a .dem file which covers more or less the whole of Europe on https://eros.usgs....30/w020n90
It seems exactly the same, apart of that it's double the size of the others. I don't know at all, but it seems like it's a limit for the size of the file. With some time and luck, it might be possible to edit the .dem file to the limited size. Hopefully |
