Bug when protecting riders?

I'm surprised I haven't seen that problem here in the forum, but maybe it is just my opinion.

When protecting a rider with another equal good one (stats and fitness-wise), the protecting rider has a lower heart rate than the protected one.

This occurs while being in the peloton, but even to an extent when riding side by side with the relaying train, forcing the front rider to ride against the wind.

When I change the positions, the now protecting rider gets a lower heart rate and the protected one vice versa.


I use the PCMdaily Expansion Pack for Patch 1.0.3.0 with this Patch.

Could this be called a bug, either db-related or general, or isn't this reproducable by others?

I haven't encounterd it my self, but it sounds a bit like a bug.

it does happen if say you protect simliar riders like fuglsang and lofkvist say fulgsang is protecting lofkvist fulgsang has a lower heartrate.

What is the fitness level of the protecting rider? And do these things happen in career mode or just in a single race?

It happens with every fitness level, 40 to 95 is what my riders had so far.
As I play mostly carrer mode, I can't prove it for single races, but there shouldn't be a difference, it doesn't matter if it's a one-day classic or a stage race.

iv never realised this till i read the OP, iv had this all season with Porte and Fuglsang, i always pair them together in tours and they take turns as leader, they have the same schedule and fitness plans, but everytime when i get to the end of stages the one protecting has better legs, maybe its just bad luck but it happens all to often.
