Graphical Performance

Hi all.

Just a basic question regarding graphical performance. I have just installed PCM2010, and my hardware specs are as follows:

Intel 2.2 Ghz processor
2GB Ram
GeForce 8400 graphics Card

The game runs ok, although there is a very slight "catchup effect" every couple of seconds on the graphics. The graphic detail levels are also defaulted to 1 mostly, meaning that my system is not optimal for running the game in heavy detail.

My question is whether an extra 2GB of memory (4GB in total) would solve this problem, allowing me to improve the graphical performance? My understanding is that memory has a much bigger impact than processor speed.

Any comments would be appreciated.

The memory has nothing to do with game performance. In no game ever.

Some games require better CPU, some better GPU. In your case both are a problem (if you really have a single core CPU).

This game has a problem with the memory as it gets filled to fast, but this should not happen with your low settings.

In fact, memory is the only thing your computer has enough, because if you run an 32bit OS (Operating System: Windows XP, Vista 32bit or / 32bit) 4GB couldn't be used by the OS anyway.
