I have had the game for about a week, but now everytime i try and load a saved game the game is crashing, is there anyway to fix this without downloading the game again?
Does it happen with all saved games? I mean, if you start a new career, then simulate the first month, then go back to the main menu, then load the save, what does happen?
I assume that you could load your saves before, right?
Do you click the "load latest save" button or do you use the other button. If you use the other button, maybe it is caused by a broken save. To test this, just move all saves out of the folder and try with a new career again.
If nothings helps you might have to reset your game, by deleting the whole pcm2010 folder in "my documents" but you will loose your career, settings, color scheme, screenshots, fitness schedules, etc. so you might backup it.
If that still does not help, you have to reset even further by deleting the pcm 2010 folder in %APPDATA% (Type %APPDATA% in your explorer and press enter, then it should show a folder which has the pcm 2010 folder in it. This is not the folder you installed your game into.)
You might be able to recover you career if you load the backup.
Variant 1 - If you have not deleted the save files:
Take the file with the .cdb~ ending and remove the ~, then move it inth the save folder and load it in the game.
Variant 2 - Weekly saves:
Have a look in the folder weeklysave, copy the most recent file into the save folder, then load in the game.
