Okay, I don't really mind the occasional ecuipment missing during races, I don't lose sleep over the game crashing if you just so much at think about it, I don't even worry about the fact that PCM has about as much depth as puddle, but if Petacchi and B. Traksel beats me over another mountain than someone is going to get it! "Someone" being the employees of Cyanide and "it" being a brick...
Come on, I have a created rider who has 79 in mountain and hills, but no mater how much effort I put him on I still dont have a chance of shaking of Petacchi. And before you accuse me of not being a fairly decent player, keep in mind that I won most hilly stages on 09. |

If the mountain specialists can win sprints, why shouldn't the sprinters climb over the steepest mountains. (sorry fo the sarcasm)
Have you experienced this with a modified DB or the official release DB. If you have not tried the official DB, just do it to make sure that the error lies in the game and not in the DB, before you start throwing stones or bricks. |

I am using Dailys Expansion pack (the one for 1.0.3.0) and I have only done one change to it; adding a rider. |

I try it in other words: You should test it again using the OfficialRelease from Cyanide. You cannot make cyanide responsible for the daily DB . |

Yeah, yeah, I know, but at this point I'm so sick of Cyanide that I still blame them for stubbing my toe this morning... |

Even with the cyanide DB the AI sucks, so you are completely right in blaming cyanide.
I'm not biased at all by the way so you can trust me.

I must say, at the moment I regret bying this game... people talk about the graphics as if they were much better... shure, they have improved, but now you need a computer that could be used by NASA to run it.
The situation for me is that I'm sitting here with a game that has just as bad graphics as the last one, the AI is worse then ever and everything I got to show for it is a slightly emptier wallet |

Yep, bought PCM 09 and that game actually wasn't half bad. I still enjoy it. |

Cyanide is very impressive on how they can manage to break things that have worked in the past. Especially how do you f*ck up the game so bad that 55 skill sprinters can outdo 80 skill sprinters, how can you make it where when you attack your rider does the attack animation but actually falls behind=P I love that one....how on hilly stages you cannot break the peloton into pieces even with 8 great riders pacing it over the hills...how on mountain stages, crappy mountain riders can still manage to hold on...oh and of course no more trains which just completely mystifies me....
Yes, with the right computer the game looks nice, but they broke everything else in the process...well they finally added some form of career statistics and more history, but come on, that really would only take a day to add in...these guys must not work very hard and considering the economy they might want to rethink how they handle customers, and actually work because the job market for crappy programmers who make shitty games is not very high. So unless they want to become a future janitor they need to get their crappy act together and treat their customer base with more respect and actually try to make some fixes....
Sure it might take them another week or two to try and actually implement a couple more fixes but that goes a long way.
You do not see other small developers ignoring their customers, deleting posts and basically taking a big stinky sh*t on their customers because they know that their customers are their livelihood.
Sorry but Cyanide is not EA, Blizzard, Sony and do not have the name recognition and size to be acting this way. They will realize it in the future as sales go down and they go bankrupt and have to enjoy there new lives of being unemployed and useless... |
