So, there are 7 team leaders, 7 favourites. Abal, Kirchen and Larsson are able in time-trailing, climbing mountains and going through hills, so these three are expected to make the podium. In the sprint division, Westling and Guerao seem to be the major stars.
Reports will start soonish, as soon as SN tells me to. |

Hopefully, this will turn out good. Not like Tour Med and Corsica. But i'm thinking top 3, although winning might be hard with Abal being better in mountain, and Larsson better in TT. So i got my hopes that they both lose time in that hilly stage, although i doubt it .

Well with 5 riders with strong mountain and TT as well as not too shabby hill stats this one is going to be quite close I would think.
I would agree with mb that Abal is just about the favourite, though Larsson, Perez Sanchez, Niemec and Kirchen are going to be dangerous. Especially Kirchen on the hill top finish with Time Bonuses coming into to play.
With Siutsou, slightly below the best a top 10 is the best I can hope for in this company. His TTing is not really good enough. With that in mind I am hoping my rider look to get in breakaways on stage 3 and 4.
In the sprints, we have all noted that the flat stages are REALLY flat. So the sprinters who really cannot climb are here and I would have really big hopes of at least a podium from Sutton or Manarelli. |

I wonder if Gajek might actually sprint now , doubt it though.

It's fun reading your predictions after having raced some stages. |

Heh, then I wonder if I can hope some of these names have done well, particularly the last three names mentioned!
Either that or complete and utter flops. Note, I did not damn anyone with the dreaded predo, it seems like a millstone around the riders neck. |

And people moan about PCM10s gameplay. PCM09 is so much better!

That I've been wondering about, will you take the mangame to PCM10 next season? If yes, what about prolouge stat?
Anyway, I feel bad for Larson, but he can still take some back on TT and with luck.

While I dont like the sprints at all in PCM09 - PCM10 seems to have more problems than solutions, so a switch is looking increasingly unlikely

It's impressive how Santander keeps chasing when Guerao is up in the road. It's probably because he was not relaying, just "maintaining position". Incredibly stupid.
Maybe this happened thanks to the little amount of riders in the race, I don't know, but still, it's dumb logic. |

It happens very often in PCM09 though - a team has a rider up ahead in a breakaway, the team decides to chase down this breakaway.
In this instance it may be due to the whole getting a gap at the intermediate sprint, without trying. This problem is solved in PCM10 by the fact that nobody sprints for intermediate sprints - they are completely useless.

Interestingly I think that's the Guerao's best ever stage in the Man game, can't be too disappointed I guess.

Better than the couple of wins he got?

Definately a good signing for you (i assume from your 1st transfer season) though, I cant say Ive really noticed him until this season and now he is attacking and winning stuff.

Magenta had him I think and after they disbanded I figured that a potential 81 sprinter was good value at 50,000. He picked up a grand total of 5 points last season but this season seems to have picked up nicely.

Completely bizarre stage, with 4 of the better sprinters completely ruining themselves by going on a breakaway that was thrust upon them.
Still it could be worse, all my riders could have been tailled off at the back a la Ikea. That really is an ouch moment and one that Ikea's promotion rivals will look at with glee. Probably leaves 4 riders left for a bash at the overall. I think Niemec of Youtube will take the lead following the TT on the next stage (and maybe the stage as well) |
