Training camps?

Hey guys I have some questions about the training camps.

I know that the training camps improve the stats of the rider for a certain time.

What difference does the amount of days of the training camp make to the rider?

What if any are the negative effects of the training camps?

Positive effects: The longer your rider is in a camp, the higher his stats will rise.

Negative effects: If a rider does not participate in races, his racing fitness will decrease. So, the longer he is in a camp, the lower his race fitness will sink.
This is no big problem for GTs though, because your rider will gain the race fitness during the first week of the tour. (If it was up to 20 in that season before.)

Just a side note: The computer teams do not use the training camps, so you should see ths feature as doping (You rider gets an unfair advantage)

It does seem like cheating alright.

How much of a bonus could a rider expect to get to his stats per day in the training camp?

Is there any long term positive effects?

I never use it so I cannot tell the gain per day, but you need to go for a week at least to see some useful gain as far as I read.

No long time effects for your riders, neither positive or negative. The stats just go back to normal after a while. I cannot remember how long it takes though.

The manual says that the effects last for about for about 12 weeks!

They must be some good drugs taken on them training camps. Smile
