Last PCM I had was 08 and just bought 10 and i'm having some problems with the editor (mainly due to the drastic changes with the editor)
I was going to start a season with HTC Columbia, but wanted a rider like Cadel Evans (a top rider) in the team so I open the editor click file, then Open a CDB file and chose Custom.cdb
Then typed in cadel evans's name under the rider column and then changed his team to HTC Columbia.
Went to file, Create the CDB Database, Then I exited the editor.
I loaded up PCM 10 and went to options then the last drop down menu (the picture of a table with a rider next to it). Then I chose the name of the file e.g edit.cdb then i clicked ok began a new season typed in my name, age and so on then when choosing a team i clicked on HTC Columbia, but Cadel Evans wasn't in the team he was still in the BMC team.
Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Finally can some one walk me through (basically) on how you edit riders salaries and sponsorship money.

You probably forgot to click "Change" or "Edit" or whatever it says at the bottom of the editor (when editing the rider). |

It's the "Validate" button - it's at the bottom along with Add a rider and Delete. |

For that you have to download another editor, either the Full Editor or Lachi's Editor.
You can give yourself more money in DYN_manager and edit the contracts in DYN_contract_cyclist. |

i've downloaded it but i find it very confusing (how do i change contracts and things)?
I went to DYN_contract_cyclist but there are no riders there.

You need to edit a save game (My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo), not a DB. |

2 more things
1. on the finance page how do i know which team is which
2. how do i add things like sponsors because they all use id's that i don't know (is there no way of finding all the id's out)

Uhm, what do you mean with the finance page? If you want to edit your team's amount of money, it's in DYN_manager.
You can find the IDs of the sponsors in DYN_secondary_sponsor. |

lol thanks i didn't know you changed the buget in DYN_manger.
On the DYN_secondary_sponsors there isn't any there (i had just started the career and not added any yet) so i cant add any because i have no idea what the id's are. |

In the editor, you need to untick "Use team filter". |

ok thanks will do.
now for my final questions:
How to I transfer a rider from one team to another I know its on DYN_transfer but can you tell me what i would put in the box for a rider using Alberto Contador as an example.
And how do i increase my salary funds?

You have to edit the rider's team ID in DYN_cyclist and DYN_contract_cyclist.
You can't increase your salary funds with the editor. Instead, you can lower your current riders' contracts. |

How do i stop the editor taking me back to the start of the game (1st of January 2010). Everytime i edit a saved game? |
