Today i added some equipment for my custom team.
I followed a guide from PCMBenelux and got my equipment showing up in the selection menu. The thing is, my equipment isn't showing up ingame.
I added 2 helms (road/tt) and 2 frames (road/tt). I can choose them but can't see them and since they are showing up in the selection menu i think the error has something to do with the tga or nif files.
So i made my frame and helm based on equipment already in the Daily DB. I copied them, edited them, put them in a new tga file. They have the same size as the original files, so i don't think that's it either. It might be something with the _s and _n files? I have no idea what they are or what they do so i just took the ones from the originals i edited. Same case with the nif-files. Copied them, renamed them and put them back in the wright map.
Anyone knows what i'm doing wrong?

K, so i added all files for my custom team to my PCM 2009 map. I'm going to cry in a corner now.

Yea, i'm playing PCM 10. It was my mistake, i added them to my 2009 folder, that's why nothing showed up ingame. Now it's showing up but the helmet and frame is black, so that has to do with the tga file size you explained? So converting them to DDS would fix it?

Ok, everything is almost perfect.
Except:
Have no idea what's wrong, did i save it as the wrong type of DDS with Paint.net? (Got 2 different choices). Although that would mean the helm would be saved wrong to, but the helms appears like it should ...

It's are the Flaminia bikes from Petacchi_94, i just removed the Flaminia logo's with PS. Could you take a look at what went wrong or what i have to fix?
Edit: Took a quick look and got the same problem with the TT bikes.

Just use the files that are in the PCM daily .db for that bike.
The white squares are related to the alpha channel not being saved. |

I'll do that, probably the easiest way.
But a question though?
What is the alpha channel? Is it like adding a white background to the file when you save it?

If you open up the .tga file in Photoshop, then click on the channels tab, you can see the alpha.
I'm guessing the way you are converting the tga to dds is somehow not including the alpa. |

Managed it. If i opened my bike files from the pack i downloaded in Paint.net, did the work there (which was with a little detour but looks exactly the same) and then saved it as DDS and no more white squares ingame.
