Ok my first two stories were a mess, in my defence it wasn't my fault but that's all in the past now. I feel I have enough experience now to sustain this story, so out of the teams could you vote for the one you would like me to play as...
Euskaltel
USI Code: EUS | Based: Spain | Founded: 1994 | Bikes: Orbea |
Manager profile: | Name: Rumer LeBlanc | Age: 29 | Nationality: French |
An upbeat character to say the least, preferring the basic methods rather than all the technology involved in cycling these days, not well known in the cycling world but he is the boss.
Main Squad:
As you can pure Spanish riders, apart from Romain Sicard thne French Fighter.

By the end of the day I'll see who's on top and the voting will end.
Also can you write on the thread when you vote, because it's not telling me.

Santos Tour Down Under
Team:
Some strong riders there in what's going to be the first race of the season, we have good climbers in Sicard and Martinez and a sprinter in Urtasun. On the 5th stage I might have a go with Martinez or Sicard for the stage victory. All will be reviled.

Santos Tour Down Under
Stage 1 No pictures, sorry. Crash
Report:
"Hello and welcome to the 1st stage of the Santos Tour Down Under. We have another sunny day here down under so the riders will have to keep hydrated in the sweltering heat"
"We have a breakaway of 12 riders, they consist of riders from all different teams such as F.J.Aramendia of Euskaltel and J.Hunt of Cervelo"
"Francisco Javier Aramendia (Euskaltel) wins the first intermediate sprint. 2nd Ruggero Marzoli (Acqua & Sapone). 3rd José Vicente GarcÃa Acosta (Caisse d'Epargne). They now have a good 4 mins over the peleton"
"Francisco Javier Aramendia (Euskaltel) has just token the second mountain to add to the first, so he will be wearing the mountain jersey by the end of the day. The gap has been pulled back to 2mins, the breakaway look dis-interested in sustaining the lead"
"Katusha lead the chase with 30km to go, 10 km to go for the next mountain sprint"
"Just 1min between them now, will they be caught before the last mountain sprint?"
"They hang on and Ruggero Marzoli (Acqua & Sapone) takes the it. Aramendia gives it up and has been caught only a handful of riders hanging on for dear life"
"Amazingly they are holding on with just 2km to go it's going to be close. Geraint Thomas (Sky) is at the front of the peloton with various other riders"
"Maaskant of Garmin is out the blocks quickly trying to reach the breakaways, but that's no happening back to the front the scrap for win continues in the final straight"
"Mondory (AG2R) is the favourite on paper but, he's run out of energy. Garcia Acosta of Caisse d'Espagne is going for it maybe... Yes! We really weren't expecting that but there you go the victory goes to Garcia Acosta not renowned for his sprinting"
