With my custom-team, Skype Cycling Team, I lead my continental league, but i can't get wildcard to the big races.. Anyone who knows why?

You need to win some smaller racer first, climb up in the continental rankings. When you're amongst the top continental teams, tour wildcard-requests will be accepted |

I'm leading the Continental rankings. But the team that are on second and third place get the wildcard !

It depends on where you are in the Pro Tour rankings, I think. |

I think it used to be that way, but they changed it to make it more realistic. |

Maybe thats right. Bbox Bouygues Telecom was the best Continental-team on the Pro Tour ranking, but the other team that get Wildcard, Saur Sojasun, do not have any Pro Tour points at all. Strange

Well the nationality of the team plays a part as well. |

The two most important factors are the Superprestige ranking and the team nationality. |

I am leading the continental rankings, and my team is the best placed continental team in the CQ Ranking (im placed 9th, and the second best continental team is placed 14th).
still i did not get wild card to TDF.
In the Pro Tour, im the worst ranked continental team.
This is confusing.. Ive done what I can do lead the continental and to be the highest ranked on CQ Ranking.. but still no wild card, is it because my team is norwegian? or is really the Pro Tour Ranking important?
They have this great beer here in England, I really love it. Its called Pint.

In the Pro Tour, im the worst ranked continental team. No wonder if they never let you participate. But as CrueTrue said, this ranking is not relevant (due to obvious reasons). |

Then i wonder what does count, cause people say CQ ranking counts.. i lead the CQ ranking of all continental teams.. some say Continental ranking also counts in, well i lead the continental ranking..
Still... wildcards to Giro and TDF goes to other teams..
annoying:

I would say it is the CQ ranking, combined with nationality of the team and the "names" of your riders. |

you must have 2-3 riders who are vips in cycling and must have one rider who were in top 10 in tour du france
win or be in top 3 on podiums(stages or final general clasament) to get all wild cards
