I sense a good one for Jack Wolfskin here... defending champ Gesink and Cornu...
No home favourite to speak of from first glance, though Trofimov and Sanchez (LL and Sammy) are those kind of Chavenel strong men type. I notice last year that stage 2 did not create a lot of splits, that must be why so many great TTers! |

We need a top 3 here that's why we have such a strong team. Posthuma is here too

A lot of TT:ers, lets hope that they get dropped on the hilly stage.

This is not to moan or anything but just a question.
Has the game died or what is happening? I can see that Langkawi has taken almost a month to ride...

When SN stops getting on peoples cases, the game tends to die off. I thought that was fairly obvious. Also, best get used to it.

I think he's supposed to be back soon though. This is everyone's vacation time as well, not just his, so the game is slow. |

No, that is moaning.
It has taken a month to ride really, but if you have read the discussion thread, you'd know why. The people are on vacation or going out after a gruelling year of school or uni or even work. Please bear that in mind before asking questions like the one you've made. That's, in my opinion, disrespectful to SN and to everybody that helps the game in some way.
I gave my apologies. And MB will surely give his, if he has a reason to it. It's possible that this hasn't started because he had thought that it should after the start of Panne. |

Yeah well, this is exactly why I don't post anything inhere. Everyone takes a simple question so damn personal, that it's just sickening.
A decent answer to my question would've been. "We are on vacation, the game will be up and running within the coming two weeks or so", if that is the case.
I don't want to hear all that bitching up, everytime I ask a question. I even wrote specifically that this was not to moan, but simply to get a statusreport, as to whether it had died out, or if it was just delayed due to something.
I didn't want anyone to apologise or anything. Why would I want that?

In an ideal world the discussion thread would be followed in the next few days by the race results, and then the next race will follow soon after. Hopefully we'll return to that pace soon enough, but it cant be expected all of the time - and while that can sometimes be boring or frustrating for some, that's how it will be before somebody decides to pay us to do the game faster
Anyway, in 2009 (the 2010 season) the transfers ended on the 23rd Feb, and Crit Int. wasnt run until August 20th. This year transfers ended around the 4th March, and Crit. Int will be finished well before August 20th. So at the very least, progress is better than last year.

Sorry, the stages were raced a while back but I was waiting for De Panne and Almeria as they come earlier in the calender.
Then I went away for 2 days, and of course that is the optimum time for posting, oh well.
The stages should be posted 1 a day for the next 3 days so as everyone gets to anticipate the results.

Robert "the sprinter" Gesink
And another poor sprint from Van Stayen. So far he's far from last year's results
