What's the best way to edit your riders' contracts?

What's the best way to edit your riders' contracts?

I'm hoping to just be able to cheat and extend existing contracts or force my riders to re-sign. Other wise I lose basically my whole squad.

Nevermind. I did it with the Full Editor V4.

If it's possible, open the save game with Advanced Editor V4. Edit DYN_contract_cyclist.

It should be pretty straight-forward from there.

That said, the editor isn't very save game friendly (too much data). You can try using the Hannes Converter for PCM09, but there may be side consequences.

Thanks for the response.

It just took a minute or two to figure out, but it did trick. I used Adv. Editor V4 on my savegame and haven't had any problems.

Now every year I won't have to worry about losing half my team.

I can open my savegame with hannes converter and change the contracts. I also overwrite my savegame but when I load my savegame nothing's changed. How is this possible?

Please help me out.

For PCM2010 I would suggest to ALWAYS use Full Editor V4 because the Converter might make your game crash.

In the Full Editor you can do everything, the race invitation would be in DYN_team_race.

@Rough-G: If you are not familiar with the Converter, just use the Full Editor instead. But if you keep using the Converter, then make sure to save after changing the content of each table (at the bottom), to select the changed tables when creating a new DB.

the system to change something is still the same, yes.

depends on what you want to change ... if you want to change something, which shall be available all the time (like for every new started career) you need to change the "base database" (this one you choosed in your ingame settings). but if you just want to change something in your current career, then you need to work with your save game database (career_1.cdb for example).

the local.cdb is for general settings ... like paths to the specific tga files; game language and other game settings and so on Wink
