I've had this installed before, working correctly and all.. but when I reinstalled PCM09 + this DB, I encountered some issues with the countries. Ingame I'm having trouble selecting wich country to search for in the country filter, as all the dropdown options are blanks. Also the country icon for some countries are replaced with those standard purple squares. What's going on? - I'm currently reinstalling.. again.
If this happens again, what could the solution be? |

Did you use a download manager? |

Try that then, because that should solve it. |

Seems random.. like I said, the first time I installed this (and it worked correctly).. I wasn't using a manager.
But I'll try it and report back Thanks! |

You need to manually copy the Local.cdb from Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/PCM.daily DB Backup to My Docs/PCM. |

Reinstalling, using a download manager didn't work for me. The problem still occurred. Though, copying the local.cdb solved this. Thanks CrueTrue!

It depends on the patch version. If you use 1.0.4.1, copy. If you use 1.0.4.2, download the Local from the PCM.daily DB Projects forum. |

*cough* 2009 *cough* .
But generally I find it always works if you delete all Local.cdb's (theres usually OriginalLocal.cdb and Local.cdb~) Then copy/paste the correct one in and start the game. If it doesn't work keep on repeating the process until it works. Sometimes after putting the correct one in, I find I have to restart/log out, log in, my computer before opening the game back up for it to work.
(Sorry that was a little rushed) |
