i know that this question is being discussed spread out in various threads - but i cant find answers to all my questions. However, because of the bugs in 2009 i actually ended up with not playing the game much. Im the kind of person who gives the season game one shot, and dont want to start new careers over and over again. So is the timing right now, or should i wait just a couple of more weeks before giving the game a chance? What is status on the following, which for me are the most important parameters for a successful career experience:
1. Same stages every season? I can see from the release description of Dailys expansion that this is fixed for World Cup - but what about grand tours - are the route and stages identical season after season? Will it be fixed? if yes, would i be able to incorporate this into running career save game?
2. Sprinter issue - as i understand it has been fixed completely?
3. Young rider progression? Is it more natural now?
4. Economy (in 2009 this was what made me quit the game ultimately
5. Time gaps - i have played a couple of the TDF stages, and to me it seems that on some mountain stages it puts all riders in same time, although u might have won with like 8-10 seconds according to the 3D timeclock - this is bad as those seconds counts if you want to beat contador
6. Sponsor goals - some players have mentioned that even if you complete these, sometimes it wont count. This is extremely bad considering the tough times you already have with the economy.
I think that was it for now.
BTW, if the above is still in a really bad condition, how is 2009 version now? Has it been updated to perfection, and i could just load a real name DB with 2010 names and stats?
The biggest issue is that most of the races will have the same stages yes. Also some races use stages from other races as they don't have their own yet (like Tour Down Under).
Sprinter issue seems to be gone for me, I can set up a train perfectly now. Haven't ran into any superstar youngsters either. Economy seems fine, you get more than enough income from races. Unless maybe you have a really small team that will win very little, but then again the sprints during a race should help.
Sponsor goals bugged a little bit for me in my previous career (Yellow marker instead of a green one when I had reached the objective) but now since the latest patch I can't really say for sure. But it all comes down to one single number you can edit in your savegame.
Time gaps can be really surprising sometimes but it's about the same as in PCM09 imo. If you're really unhappy with it the only good way is to edit the values yourself, for both games.
All in all I'm happy with PCM10 now after the latest patch with the PCMdaily database. More stages and variants would be nice but they'll come for sure.

Thanks, guess i will have to look around to find out how to change the values in the save game and in an editor.
Regarding the new stages - when they come, would they be easily incorporated to existing save or do you think i would have to start a new one. Reason i ask is that i could start a career now, and then play it for a couple of weeks and then hopefully stages/patch would be out and then i could continue my career into 2010...
