Is there any way of changing the difficulty of this?
It is way to hard and unrealistic. I played a season in career with Saxo Bank, it didn't start very well with 0 victories until mid-March. Failed at Tirreno. P-N and M-SR. The sponsor bar was as low as it gets. But then my winnig streak started. G-W, RvV, P-R, AGR, LBL and second in LFW. The bar is still completely red. I played on, but the best riders took a break until TdF. Won DL and TdF, but the sponsor bar is still red. I don't want to play anymore, because it is just unrealisticly difficult
I have also experienced that if you are a small team with 1 or 2 good riders, it is also difficult to keep the sponsors happy, even though you hve good results. I like to concentrate on a few races in the start of the season. Take Androni as an example. Here I would start strong in february, before the riders take a brake before the Giro. I do a couple of races before the Giro, and the confidence is OK. I take on place on the podium, but all my best riders are tired, so they need a slow period before they ride the Vuelta. When I don't get any notable results during June, July, it is completely impossible to get the confidence back up again. And because I have gotten some good results, I have gotten high in the CQ Ranking. This leads to higher expectations next season, but since the confidence is only at average, I don't get any more salary funds.
Can anyone help? |

Well that's not much fun! I want it to be more realistic without having to edit my save game every month. |

It's neither fun or realistic that you have to win every race you participate in, either if you play them or simulate them. |

Im playing a career with Sky, and I have to say I find it way to easy. Winning all three flanders classics with Flecha, just by using the detailed simulation.. Had no problems completing the goals - yet. Still need to get a top 5 in the Tour with Wiggings. Dont know the goals of Saxo Bank tho, but im sure they are a bit harder, but a team with better riders aswell.
Anyways, think the only way to change them is using the editor. Or choose some easy goals when picking your secondary sponsors.. Might help a bit on the confidence. |

I don't think completing the goals was his problem really. Looking at the races he won, he has had a great season ( at least that would be a fantastic season in real life ) and still the sponsor is totally unhappy. His problem was more that the sponsor satisfaction didn't seem to change at all even after wins in RvV, P-R or even the TdF |

Does anyone know if it is possible to make the sponsors less demanding?
I would like to know before I start a new career |

Well the confidence depends on the first months I guess :
I have done an extraordinary beginning winning TdU, and Paris Nice with Bbox so as other small races like GP La Marseillaise and Etoile de Bessege, but the rest of the year wasn't good : 0 objectives done but the confidence stayed green...
Team Europcar !!

Here I started with the smallest budget, and only junior riders. It is going to be impossible to please the sponsors....

No, the confidence is calculated by a percentage of the total of the super prestige points won. Each team demands a different percentage of these points to be happy.
Example: Milram wants 1% but Astana wants 4% to be happy.
Super prestige points can be won in all races, no matter what team. |

Are you sure about this? Because it seems that if you start with many victories, it is easier to keep the sponsors happy, even though you don't have as good results the rest of the season. And is it possible to change how much percentage each team demands?

Looking at this it looks like once the sponsors have become either positively or negatively influenced, they don't switch to the other side anymore. Can anyone confirm that? I don't know how you gain those Super Prestige Points though, which would make things a little easier to reproduce.
If you can find it in the editor and crank it up, the unhappiness (or happiness, in case you already have a happy sponsor and you drop the SPP to zero) should be converted to the other side. |

I remember the same in 2007. I had achieved all the goals (stage win in Dauphiné, wear a yellow jersey in TdF) but still the confidence was "very bad". I can admit that TdF otherwise was not good, only one rider in top 20 and even that in the low end of it. One of the goals (regarding GP Ouest France) is still left but haven't reached that point. |

Ore just at the end of the year lol
But it is true that the confidence is not working 100% same with previous versions of PCM. If you have ore had a bad streak it seems its hardly reversible...
Normally if you win lets say the Giro, Tour, some classics and smaller rounds then any sponser would jump up and down from happiness...even so if you win them you end up a little bit above the middle line, not very realistic.
(Same goes with how many races you can win in a year, in my new carreer with own team through PCM i made 42 victories and only have 1 real sprinter lol, so all in all a few things are not realistic just as in the previous versions, my guess.....its just to hard to make it realistic)
Its to bad that EA Sports doesnt see anything in cycling, now that would be great!! |

Actually, EA Sports sucks just as much at the management/career part of sports games The career in the FIFA games has never been much to write home about.
Sports Interactive (Football Manager) making a cycling game, not that would be something to look forward to. |
