Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? or a patch?
My game in career mode, plays as normal then i exit after hour or two of playing.
Then shut down computer turn game back on and i load the Career game i was playing but it no longer plays properly. It will not allow me to play the game nor simulate, it just goes "day turn" "training" every time i click next event.
Have tried all patches and none seem to fix it..
Suggestions? |

Have they still not fixed this problem, its been happening since the 06 version, as far as i know, maybe longer. Such a good game with such a huge flaw. Guess i wont be buying 2010 then.
The problem is everytime you exit the game it autosaves and copies the files of your last save game.
I havent got 2010 but from previous versions each time you quit out of the game go to documents\pro 2010\database\solo\(what ever your database is called), copy the 3 files in there and paste them somewhere else on your drive.
If you load up your career and it isnt working properly you can just past these files back into your solo\database and the most youll lose is one days racing. I used to keep 2 different backups just incase.
Hope theis helps. |

This does not happen on most of the computers. So it must be a problem with your computers. Still this problem should be fixed by cyanide. |

I've not had this problem with any version of the game and, I've been playing since 2005.
Maybe the problem's with your machine? |

Have you chosen a "Custom" install? |

I can't see why my computer would be any different than another. Its only couple months old with windows 7 etc.
And No i didnt use a custom install. I just did a normal full install.
Is there another way to fix this? |

As somebody has said, Cyanide was not able to fix it in the last years, so: There is no fix.
You might contact them or the technical support. If nothing helps, you should ask for a refund. |
