That's what i thought to, but i also read a place that the madone was not introduced before 2003? |

It says here that Lance used Trek 5500 to win the tour in 1999

Madone was introduced in 2003, completely redone in 2007
Trek road bikes have won 9 Tour's (7 LA, 2 Cont), 2 Giro's (1 Cont, 1 Falco), and 2 Vuelta's (1 Cont, 1 Heras)

Should also note though that Lance's first few TdF victories didn't come on a Trek TT bike (they sucked until 2007, and weren't top of the line till the Speed Concept of a couple weeks ago)
The TT bike's he used...A Litespeed Blade (titanium) bike
