Since when did failing to use one's own gear changer correctly, in relation to the terrain and the amount of force that one is applying to the pedals at the time' constituted a mechanical malfunction? Correct use of equipment is a specific cycling skill, just as much as being able to descend faster than one's contemporaries!Rolling Eyes
