I've setup this thread to warn people what you can and can't do when making a PCM 10 Database. Please could people add their advice.
I hope it helps!

I'll start.
You can't add race variants.
You can't make races outside of Europe and Australia using GPS Data.

I think you should add this to the end of the title so its easier to spot.

Can we or can we not add individual equipment? E.g. in the pcmdaily db there is a lot of equipment that is special for the big riders like Cancellara, the Schleks, Boonen and Contador. In PCM09 I found the answer to be no.
On a similar, yet different note; is it possible to add equipment so that for instance when Contador wears yellow he uses a special (yellow) bike and helmet?

And63rs:
You can add that material, but you cannot individualize any material, neither can you link it to conditions.
About the races outside europe:
You need to download the DEM package first (can be found somewhere here).
But nevertheless you can ADD any race to the DB as long as the country is in the local.cdb. If you have the correct stage files, then it is perfect but still, nothing speaks against adding races all over the world.
About the variants:
In fact you CAN add variants, just download the patch 1.0.3.0 and read this manual how to do it.
To the thread starter:
I recommend to collect all information in the first post, so that people don't have to read the whole thread to find an information. |

Instead of posting each region separately it would be better to give a overview:
Download the files here: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=754 |

is it possible to add new national teams? if yes, how exactly? i've tried it by adding a new national team to dyn_national_team and linking it to the country in sta_country, but it crashed at the world champs, i guess i need to edit a few more tables, but which?
oh and what about scouting zones? i've started a thread earlier asking how to add them but received no reply. |

Hi!
I have a question!
If you make a national champ or world champ, how can you plug the race in to the game?
and is it possible with the database editor wich is included with PCM10?
Thanks if you help me! |
