OK its a stupid little problem but in the achievements box on the page where you select what race you want to do, for some reason Lance Armstrong is still Lance Neilstrung, despite the fact that everywhere else in the game he and every other rider has the correct name. Any ideas why? |

It's stored in a different place and whoever made your database couldn't be bothered to change it. I suspect once the big databases come out the issue will probably be fixed but it's a fairly low priority on the whole

That Neilstrung in the results, should be linked to the Armstrong other places in the game.

The list of names used in race achievements/past results come from DYN_palmares_cyclist, and while this table is linked to DYN_cyclist, changing a name in DYN_cyclist does not change the name in DYN_palmares_cyclist.
So to fix it, youd need to edit DYN_palmares_cyclist

OK thanks very much. I'm guessing I have to download an editor for this. Which one would you recommend? |

OK well now I'm completely lost. Downloaded the editor, loaded the local.cdb but there were no DYN files at all. Just GAM and STA? |

You're supposed to load your DB (I suppose you're using a custom DB - if so, it's in My Docs/PCM/Database). |

OK well I'm slowly getting there lol. Right so I loaded my database (Pro Cycling Manager 2010) from My Docs/PCM/Database and still nothing. Then tried loading the Custom database and got the folders I want. So I'm assuming I change what I want from the Custom database and save it and that will do the job? |
