Game stopped working

Hi all! Did'nt find a small questions-thread so I'll just create a new thread, redirect me if I'm posting this wrongly.

Now to the problem. I can start the game and all that, but when I choose a "racestyle", for example a stage race, the game goes into a never-ending "waiting for connection..." phase. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Did you try deleting your save games (My Docs/PCM/Database/Solo)?
