I read somewhere in this forum that the WC doesnt change the course in the game in the second season, it simply changes the name of the hosting country. So my question is: Does the 3 GTs and the protour stage races change courses from season to season? I seem to remember that they have in earlier versions of pcm |

The feature isnt in the game - so it also isnt in any databases.

If you change the stage file in STA_worldch_parcours so each country has another stage assigned, will it then also change the parcour ingame? or doesn't the game look at what is configured in this table |

The only route that can change is the World Championship routes - but Cyanide assigned the same route to every country, so in fact, it won't change.
In the PCM.daily DB, this has been changed for Copenhagen (comes with the real 2011 WC routes). For the rest, I'll make sure to change it for other countries, so the route varies.
Concerning other race route changes, Cyanide is currently working on enabling the feature again. |

no GT changes year for year, hopefully they add this feature with a patch
Install 1.0.1.6 before 1.0.1.8 and the tourmalet isn`t flat. |

It will never happen without this feature. You could change it manually year for year. After one season you could change all Tour, Giro or Vuelta stage files in CM_Stages and change some tables with the full editor for the right profile...
But this would be quite a lot work and you would have to do it for every single season again. If you start a new career it wouldn`t be saved, so you have to do it again and again... |

I am talking about the feature that there are different tours every year. But this isn`t possible yet, so nowhere to download.
It was possible in 09 but not for PCM 10 -.- |

If they don´t I think they will loose customers next year, it´s a major step back in my opinion. |

Isn't it like a week ago Cya said that a stage update would be released in 14 days. Rumors are that the variant feature will be released with the stages, so I guess there's like a week till one of the best features in PCM will be included in the game again.
Simply just good ol' plain stupidness to remove the variant feature from this years game. It was a big part of what made the career fun and exciting to play, and then they simply just choose to remove it... Stupidness... |
