Hello to everybody,
I ve decided to write a story of Team RADIOSHACK and story of Lance Armstrong trying to get back into ‘’head of peloton’’ in Tour de FRANCE 2010. I hope everybody enjoy my story and have fun.
PS: My english is not very well so I am sorry for my mistakes 
PROLOGUE
Saturday 3 July
As usual Tour starts with prologue where everybody wants to show why are they here. GC contenders dont want lose any seconds on the others and TT specialists fight for chance to wear most valuable jersey in the world of Cycling....Yellow jersey for the best rider in TDF. So this is it.....
Favourites are Cancellara of course, Millar maybe Zabriskie with Leipheimer. But our goal is watch time gaps between Lance and the others GC favourites.....
David Zabriskie take the lead on beginning of prologue. He was leader long time until Hushovd take a leadership from him. Meanwhile Andy Kloden lying on the 3rd place, 15 sec behind Hushovd....
Two big favourites for white jersey for best youngest rider Tony Martin and Kreuziger trying take down Hushovd from leading.....Martin 8 sec. behind Thor, Kreuziger 16 sec. Point for Martin
Lance was first GC favourite on the road....1st intermediate doesnt look good...take 21st place 17 seconds behind Hushovd and almost all teammates was in front of him including Horner and Greg Rast....but Lance is a real fighter and second half of his race prove it right. He crossed finish line and take 4th place 15 sec behind Hushovd exact like Klodi....
Sylvain Chavanel seems to be in a great form and with his effort earn same time as Hushovd...so two yellow jerseys for now??
Luis Leon Sanchez, Karpets, Vandevelde, Rogers....all behind Lance.
But others ‘’weight categories‘‘ are still on the road.....Wiggins take the lead with great performance – 9 seconds i front of Hushovd. Levi „only“ fourth. Only seven riders left. All big guns in GC.
Menchov, Sastre, S.Sanchez, Basso, Evans,A.Schleck and Contador of course.....
Probably It wont be Menchov best Tour....50sec behind is too much.
Sastre even worse...
S.Sanchez no danger for Wiggins or Lance...deep in the field with 38sec lost.
Andy Schleck never been a great TT so it will be hard for him in the Alps and Pyrenees catch all the favourites....78th and 52sec to a winner.
Everything goes well for Lance because Basso is behind him too. Not far but still
And maybe biggest surprise of the day. Cadel Evans take only 17th place with 26 sec lost.
And what about Alberto Contador???...Unlikely he beat Lance about 12 sec and take 5th place with 11sec lost on new Yellow Jersey Bradley Wiggins who won prolouge TdF 2010 in Rotterdam.
and the Jerseys goes to......
I think it was good day for Team Radioshack with three riders in Top Ten and good oportunity for next three weeks.
See you soon.....wait for yours responds

Good start
A little tip, remove the name above the rider - and the circle under the rider. Gives a better picture

Stage 1
Sunday 4 July
New day.... new story.
Stage 1 is build for sprinters and teams with names like Cavendish, Freire, McEwen, Hushovd, Farrar etc.
Finally we are leaving Rotterdam in Sky Team hands....or legs??
Not far from the start Le Lay from AG2R attacked and 6 others followed him maybe earn some points to sprinters competions for green jersey.
1st sprinter points for M.Fisher 6pts, Le Lay 4pts, Klemme 2pts
All escaped riders worked well and gain big time gap in front of peloton.
Surprisely no agressive sprints for points on 2nd sprint.
1.Perez 6pts
2.Klemme 4pts
3.Sijmens 2pts
3rd sprint for Le Lay 6pts, Kolobnev 4pts, Wynants 2pts....and everything was ready for final sprint.
All The Shack riders were in peloton all day long.
45 km to finish line time gap between escaped riders and peloton is 3’30’’ thanks to Freire’s Rabobank, Cavendish’s HTC Columbia and Benatti’s Liquigas…..
Couples of last kilometers gives best position for the final sprint to Thor Hushovd who decide follow train with Astana sprinter Davis.Top favourite Cavendish and Freire has own train but they were only two and doesn’t have pace to compete with others.
Bennatti and Farrar followed Hushovd but they were too far and too slow for green jersey holder.
Finally Hushovd take the lead and won first stage TdF 2010. Green jersey is in good hands for now…
2nd Davis
3rd Bennatti
4th Freire
5th Cavendish

STAGE 2
Monday 5 July
Third stage of Tour is first stage where Polka dot jersey competition starts so peloton was from the beginning nervous about attacks from riders with better hill skills than last day.As peloton expected Vaugrenard attacked at firsts kilometres with Luque, Van Avermaet and Devenyns....
First mountain sprint for Vaugrenard (6pts), Devenyns second, Van Avermaet third.Luque was first on second mountain sprint, Vaugrenard 2nd...it s between two of them who i s going to fight for polka dot jersey. Also these riders take som sprint points for green jersey but there’s ‘’King Thor’’ with a lot of points before them…
60kms to go Fedrigo trying attack with Gerdemann and Lovkvist…..strong group but 20km to go Gerdemann with Lofvkvist have been catch up. Meanwhile Luque in front of race take a lead in mountain competition. Everything decides last mountain sprint….If they want keep leading before peloton they must ride fast…and they did. Vaugrenard with Devyvnyns attacked. Van Avermaet is out...
Vaugrenard won last mountain sprint and take virtual polka dot jersey for himself....and going for stage...
What an amazing day for Vaugrenard....he won the stage after escape. ..he take the lead in sprinters competitions....he take the lead in mountain competion...and after all take the YELLOW for himself.
Great stage, great Vaugrenard....everybody is looking forward to 4th stage...what the cobblestones are capable of. |

That looks like quite a large victory - already a minute up on second place. Did Sky put much effort into chasing it back? |

^ I wouldn't have
by the end of the tour (or even by the rest day), the Sky team would be buggered |

Except that in real life at least, Wiggins couldn't be expected to hold it past the cobblestones, so they might as well get their glory while they can and then take it easy for the two transitional stages before the Alps. That's what I'd do at least. |
