Fun facts? I have none
doddy's fun fact: Morzine became famous for it's fantasy film festival, but that ended in 1993 but that's been replaced by many other events such as a Jazz festival.

My hopes for this stage is that someone can knock off Pineau from his KOM lead or atleast wittle it down significantly. |

I guess Quickstep will send someone like Barredo in the breakaway to protect Pineau.
Tomorrow we should see who'll target the KoM jersey. I hope someone like Cunego or Martinez goes for it. Maybe Gadret? |

I'm more concerned with his eventual breakway partners

I hope that one of the favourites who is down on time goes on an early attack, and make it exciting.

Being Arashiro the "1" after outclimbing everyone in the signature control's stairs, and going solo from the start to Morzine. Obviously. |

I'm really disappointed ASO chose to ride Col de la Ramaz and Les Gets instead of Col du Joux-Plane.
Other than that I don't think we will see the favourites attack before the final climb, damn I miss the Giro. |

Actually, the only GC 'favorite' that might do something is Vino Saw him trying to sneak with one of those breaks today, i believe it was the one with Nocentini. Maybe Kloden aswell, but i guess he will have to work for Armstrong.

yeah if only Menchov, Gesink and Garate would ride for them, but they don't so it will be Rabo who will get the 1-2-3

No one from The Shack will even dare to do something for themselves. They have to protect the Master
I would really like to see some moves from the favorites tomorrow but I'm afraid we won't see any moves.

I don't think any of the major favourites will be going for it, but the tempo will be very high. I'm tipping someone like Basso who probably is only looking for a top 10 but will be looking for a big mountain top stage finish. |

i think it's too early for the main favourites (contador, evans, schleck, armstrong, basso, menchov, wiggins) to be in yellow as their team (maybe not saxo) will be too tired to defend come the end of the tour (pyrennes, bearing in mind that we have TWO climbs of the tourmalet)
that said, it's hard to look past contador for the win |

I wonder what Retirement Shack's excuses will be this time
So far they have a different excuse every time they get dropped.
It's the heat.....I didn't drink enough.......I have a saddle sore......My bed wasn't comfortable....

I think radioshack will have to do something on this stage if they want to get armstrong back in the game for the yellow jersey! |
