In the graphics. But seriously I played a stage with Shader 3.0 and shadows on 2 and everything else relatively low and it was beautiful! The classic i rode was the GP la Marselliese in the first week of Febuary. If you get a chance boost your graphics up (even if you lag) and sit back and enjoy the scenery. Trees, cities, odd-ball houses that make it really make you feel like your off riding a bike in a beautiful place like France. The graphics alone have restored my faith in actually playing the game instead of simming everything to the important stages. The roads got narrower and it even affected the actual race. The tallest hill of that race has a road thats about wide enough to fit maybe 4 riders next to eachother which caused the peleton to dragout into a long line. That combined with wind caused a break that eventually led to 23 of the front riders breaking off from the rest and many more small splits behind. I won because of this on hard with Karsten Kroon with a 1:20 advantage on a group of almost 40 riders who in turn had a 3 minute advantage over those that were lagging behind on that climb. It completely changed my mindset on how I approach career mode. Its this kind of detail that I like. Hah well enough of my say I just thought I'd share a bit of what I like about PCM 2010.
Anyone else have moments or stages like this that reassure your continued enjoyment in this underrated series??!?
