Hi I bought PCM 2010 about a week ago and I am really enjoying it so far !
I have some questions though about things I found. Firstly with the sprinting when i used to play PCM 2008 (didn't get 2009) they had a seperate sprinting bar which showed how much sprint energy you have left but this version does not. Does the sprint now depend on how full your yellow and red bars are ? I find it very difficult to win sprint stages as the other riders always come past even if i have lots of red and yellow energy left, any tips for me ?
Also I had a really strange experience with Cunego today. I was playing the giro with liquigas (couldn't resist after watching it on tele !) and we were on stage 11 (I think). Cunego attacked at the top of the final climb which was about 40km's from the finish gaining about 1 minute over the peleton. The last 40km's were flat except fot 5-10 of downhill. I put my team on the front to pull him back (I had still 7 riders in the group) and even with Basso taking turns not only did we not pull him back he pulled out 6 minutes over the peleton !! Does anyone know what hapened here or experienced anything similar to this ? He now leads the giro by over 5 minutes but I have faith we can still win !
Thanks. |

I never got things like that but I also have Cunego winning the Giro each year because of one stage in perticular... (I am now in 2013)
I don't have a team like Liquigas so I never lead the peleton at the end but in one stage he also went on his own at 50 km of the end and arrived 10 min in front of the peleton who didn't try catching him up.
Luckily I had Trofimov in the morning breakaway who managed to stay in Cunego's wheel and won the stage and he ended 3rd of the Giro.
There is something weird about Cunego...
Team Europcar !!

Thanks for the responses. Tuco I had the riders on 80 though most had almost no yellow bar, only my good climbers had energy left.
Also more bad news for me as cunego strikes again on stage 14 over the Monte Grappa, is this the stage you were referring to BouBBox ? While it has been an exciting race so far thanks to the different AI from previous versions i don't want cunego winning every time !
After stage 14 the top 10 on GC is :
Cunego
Basso + 6"02
Evans + 9"23
Garzelli +9"33
Szmyd +12"13
Nibali +13"07
Vinokourov +13"08
A.Shleck +14"04
Bruseghin +14"18
Cataldo +17"35
At this stage those gaps are crazy ! I have little hope of winning now |

I've never had problems with Cunego owning everyone else. I manage to win the Giro each time i play, with Liquigas, each time with the best riders. |
