Another flat stage. It'll follow the usual formula.

At this rate Petacchi yeah. Clearly the best sprinter of the race.

I hope for a break but sprinters will probably take the stage. I don't think Petacchi will win, just because the sprint field is a little more open this year and he has already had 2 wins so he'll be followed a little closer now.

They're already dead.
He'd need to win all the remaining sprint stages, and then Hushovd/Petacchi to place nowhere really.
It's a year where a pure sprinter won't win the jersey, read: Thor

I think Cavendish has still a chance to get a stage win, but the teams learned from last years Tour and don't let Columbia do anything
Hondo made a high pace very early and so Renshaw/Cavendish can't held up a very high tempo over more then 700m and Petacchi is known for that he doesn't need a lead-out like Cavendish
If Columbia gets the full control (with Grabsch/Eisel/Renshaw) over the last km I'm sure that Cavendish win this stage, if not Petacchi/Hushovd/McEwen will win this stage, I hope McEwen will get a stage win at this Tour

why always dope? did cancellara used dope in the prologue?? 10 seconds in 8,9 km is much off course not!! petachi is just the fastest in this peloton at this time... Cavendish has to prove he can win in this years tour, next year it could al be different

You do know doping doesn't influence sprinting speed? Doping makes it so you have more stamina, and on a flat stage of 140km that wouldn't have muh of an influence.
