Stage editor help

I got PCM 2010 today, and jumped straight for the stage editor. while most of it seems very simply, i can't for the life of me add a start point, a sprint or a finish point. please, could someone help me before i go crazy? |

that's something else, i can't quite workout how to add checkpoints. they seem to have a mind of their own |

i'm not entirely sure how to add one. i know where the button is, just don't know when to click it. i've managed to get a little flag to appear, don't know if that's a checkpoint or not though |

You have to press the button on the left where it's a red arrow, and the push in one of the 'circles' on the road you created. |

But how do you get it "down" on the road? I mean, im struggeling big time with this editor... Is there a guide to use this editor?

There are a couple of tutorials and a FAQ in the Cyanide forum. Both in French though.
@ Befedelbumps: You have to add it with the right button of the mouse. |

i can make one checkpoint appear, but after that the button does nothing |
