Different stages in tours

Does anybody know if Cyanide will make a patch that changes the stages in tours from year to year?

I don't like riding the same stages year after year and it really seems like a huge setback from last years game.

Last year it was possible to add more stages by your own and write a file with rules for the following years. Nobody really knows but maybe this isn`t possible this time. But there are still variant_stage tables in an editor, so probably it will work.

In my opinion the main problem is the lack of stages. Because of the new format it was hard to build stages for every tour. So they didn`t even work on variant stages.

Is it possible to find tours made by other player and insert them into the game or is it to early?

There's no variants so far, but there's plenty of custom races. You can find most of them in the Stages forum.
