Hi PCMDaily, long time no see. I want to play PCM10 and decided to rather buy the game than to illegally download it. Do anyone know how long time it takes Nexway to comfirm payment? After I entered my infomation I got this message:
Your order is currently pending.
You will receive an Email with all the information you need to download and install your software after validation of your payment by our partner Triple Deal.

Yeah, it's not very user-friendly. Some get it the second after having ordered it, others have to wait for hours.
I'm pretty sure that they started doing this to avoid people using proxies / getting the game cheaper. |

i used proxy to get the US price, don't want to pay €38 when I can pay $39. Let's see how it goes. |

You will probably not get the game any time soon then. People have reported that you can only do this (with a proxy) if you pay through Click and Buy. |

Of course it depends of the connection, but for a normal 10 Mbs?

Well that sucks big time then because they have already reserved the money on my bank account. I only used proxy until I got to the pay website and entered it from my own IP, and the 39.99 price was still available.
If you use proxy until you get to payment site you can just copypaste that URL and enter it without proxy and still get same price. I dont know if you can see this URL but you can try, I just generated a new order payment site:

didnt wanted to start a new topic, so im using thisone. just wanted to ask when i want to re-install the dl version of the game, if i need to activate it everytime i make a new clear instalation? it would be pretty pain in ass to ask for a new key after every three reinstalls, thanks fo answer |

I have a "clean" folder of the game, including just the standard game installation + the latest patch.
Whenever I want to "reinstall", I just make a copy of it. It doesn't require reactivating. |

thats why i want to reinstall, to use patch 1000-1022, kinda not sure if its safe to use 1008-1022, so id rather use the "full" patch. sooo do i do i understand right, that new installation costs me one of three activations?
btw your idea of making backups seems clever, but these are situations that you never meets with other kind of games, just Cyanides ... |

If I remember right, you can deinstall and install the game without wasting an registration if you are connected to the internet.
During the deinstallation it should ask something about unregister or similar. If you accept but install right after, it should not ask for a key.
The other possibility would be to save the key from the registry. I do this as soon as I have registered the game. So after each fresh install I reapply the registry key then install the patches.
(I have not done it with pcm2010 because I have not installed that game yet, but my guess is, that it works the same as all previous games.) |
