changing equipment

i've got a question. i like more the equipment from the MAX db than that from PCM Daily db, that i'm playing now. i need to change anything else beside replacing the files from pcm folder, in order to have it ?

you will also have to edit the pcmdaily.db but don't excatly know what.

It's not all that simple. Other than copying the STA_equipment and STA_equipment_marquez tables from the Max DB to the PCM.daily DB, you also have to change the equipment setup in DYN_team and DYN_national_teams for all teams / countries. |

not that hard if i'm strugglin a little bit. but i'll just wait for the final version of PCM Daily. hope you got some decent equipment there. this one from now looks like a kitch

The equipment will be the same in the final version.
And I'm pretty sure that most of it is equal to the stuff in Max' DB. |

i'm reffering to the fact that it looks "dirty". why i need a giro helmet in other races than giro ? 'things if you can understand me  i prefer nice and simple. the equipment that teams have and nothing more.

Well, we removed the selectable equipment in the beta version of our final DB for PCM09 - and people hated that choice. So we enabled it again. |

i must say i don't hate it, and i like it too, but i want them to be putted in a nice order, nice pictures and stuff. just like in the original. one of the reasons i prefered the max equipment witch is better aranged.

Hi Guys...When chosing equipment, I only see the team logo instead of the picture of the equipment. Do you have the same problem, and what can I do? |

Sounds like you're using The Max' DB. If so, that's how it's intended. |

I just installed the PCM Daily db, but when I want to chose equipment - There are no pictures? In the GUI folder all pictures of helmets, wheels and frames are located, but they dont appear in the game? |

Are you sure that you have the correct Local.cdb?
There's pictures of most of the equipment, but not all. |
